Fee Waiver
Researchers/students who would like to apply for a full or partial fee waiver, can submit a motivation letter (maximum 1-page) to Dr Veeran Naicker (27804887@sun.ac.za) and Dr Melanie Deist (cilliersm@sun.ac.za) by the 11th of October 2023 stating the following:
- Your current topic of study and/or research (including name of institution).
- How your studies/ research is relevant to the themes of the conference.
- How your studies/research will benefit from attending the conference.
Please note that we have limited capacity to support students. Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation policy
In the event that you are unable to attend the colloquium, you are required to inform us in writing of your registration cancellation. Send your mail to jrp1@sun.ac.za and copy it to cgdlq@sun.ac.za.
- If you cancel 30 days or more before the event, you can request a full refund.
- If you cancel more than 14 days before the event there will be a 20% administration fee and you will be refunded 80% of your payment.
- There will be no refund for cancellations that are made less than 14 days before the event
You will be liable for all relevant transaction fees
